2010 Universum Survey - U.S. Edition
Because undergraduate students are highly sought after by employers, your opinions are extremely important and valuable sources of information. Top employers, including many that recruit students, base their recruiting strategies on Universum’s research so it will truly benefit you and others on campus to share your opinions on recruiting and employers. Companies will only see the collective results, and your participation/identity will be kept confidential.
Most respondents will qualify for prizes such as a scholarship, and Universum will make a donation on behalf of thirty (30) students from your campus to the following causes:
1. UNICEF U.S. Fund – Relief efforts in Haiti
2. PROJECT HOPE - providing life-saving vaccines to children in developing countries
3. Donate to breast cancer research

Penn State Career Connection LinkedIn Group is focused specifically on connecting Penn State students with employers regarding career-specific issues. You will be able to engage in a discussion with a wide range of employers on general career topics such as resume writing, interviewing, job search strategies, workplace trends, and employment/recruiting trends. You will also have the opportunity to join a subgroup(s) most relevant to your career interests (e.g., communications, counseling, engineering, etc.). As a member of a career-specific sub-group, you can participate in group discussions, read posted articles, and discuss opportunities with employers in your chosen career field. You will also be able to interact individually with employers to (a) become aware of job/internship opportunities at their organization and/or (b) receive career advice and information related to your career field.
